According to sources, BCIA first launched an event offering red packets worth RMB1 million through WeChat payment channel in April, creating a sensation of smart services in BCIA. Between August 4 and 8, a “No Cash Day” event was staged to further stress smart services. As a result, the first exemplary airport of smart services in China emerged, while innovative services featuring “Internet + airport commerce” have been recognized and well received by passengers. This time, BCIA launches a “Shake” event, linking travel services with passengers’ demand through a simple method – Shake, and bringing smarter, more convenient and more interesting travel experience to passengers.
Driven by the increasingly mature cyber age, people’s consumption habits and shopping experience are changing radically. Along with such a change, the commercial and retail modes of BCIA are also changing and innovating. While ensuring that the products and services offered by any retail store in any terminal of BCIA shall have the same quality and be sold at the same prices as the same products and services available in downtown convenience stores and brand boutiques do, Beijing Capital Airport Commercial & Trading Co., Ltd. (“ACT”) is actively expanding its WeChat and Weixin marketing channels, and striving to implement the “smart airport” concept in the business section of BCIA. From quality services to innovative services and then to smart services, the company pays more attention to passengers’ consumption experience than ever, significantly strengthening its interactions with passengers and consumers. Going forward, based on market trends, ACT will keep meeting passengers’ diversified and differentiated demands, allowing passengers to enjoy more thoughtful and pleasant shopping experience in the business section of BCIA.
