Source: CARNOC.com/(ACT/Song Jiannan) On July 8, Beijing Capital Airport Commercial & Trading Co., Ltd. (“ACT”) won the title of “2015 Top Ten Growth Benchmark Enterprises in the Chinese Retail Sector” at the 10th China Retailers Convention & Exhibition (“CRCE”) organized by the China General Chamber of Commerce.
Over recent years, ACT made outstanding achievements in respect of corporate scale, operating performance, innovative development and sector influence. The entitlement of the “2015 Top Ten Growth Benchmark Enterprises in the Chinese Retail Sector” recognized and confirmed ACT’s continuous efforts. In the context that the traditional retail sector has been continuously challenged by new business forms, such as e-commerce, ACT centers on the market, strengthens its position as a professional business section management company, aims at increasing product values, improving brand images, and ameliorating passengers’ experience, strives to make progresses, keeps innovating operations and optimizing management, explores new businesses, actively advances changes and innovations, and makes efforts to make breakthroughs and integrations for cross-sector businesses. Meanwhile, ACT focuses on “Internet +”, introduces third-party payment instruments, e.g., WeChat, exploits such media platforms as Weibo and WeChat, makes use of iBeacon positioning and information release functions, and innovates online/offline interactive marketing models.
Attending the CRCE has enormous significance to ACT. It not only allows ACT to master and get aware of the impacts of the state’s macroeconomic situation on the retail sector, the measures that traditional commerce needs to take to face the Internet age, the trend of the sector’s development and market information, but also provides a precious opportunity for ACT to share and exchange information and ideas with renowned enterprises in the sector. In particular, sharing such successful experience as “business intelligence planning and building” and “scenario-based marketing driven by big data” could help ACT implement its strategies for managing the business section of Beijing Capital International Airport (“BCIA”) and boost reforms and innovations. As ACT increases its influences in the sector, it will be increasingly important for ACT to attend the CRCE to enhance its knowledge of the tourist retail sector and improve the business services available at BCIA. Going forward, ACT will fully make use of this information communication and sharing platform in the retail sector, actively adopt the new ways of thinking for developing the airport retail sector under new circumstances, thoroughly explore the value of airport retail resources, forge the core competitiveness of operating the business section of an airport, and build the company into a professional operator and manager of the business sections of airports.
According to sources, the China General Chamber of Commerce is a national trade association in charge of 39 business associations around China and has significant influences in a big number of sectors. ACT has officially become one of the vice chairman entities of the China General Chamber of Commerce.
