(“ACT”) officially opened an AIRCO specialty store at Terminal 2 of Beijing Capital International Airport (“BCIA”) on February 4, 2015, the first day of this year’s Spring Festival rush.
The brand-new AIRCO specialty store is located in the public section on the second floor of Terminal 2, BCIA, and covers an area of 95 square meters. Unlike previous AIRCO specialty stores, which mainly focus on Beijing local foods, the new AIRCO specialty store principally offers handicrafts with Beijing features, including such brands as Jing Fan, Yunhong Chopsticks and Mu Lan. Passengers could buy more than 200 types of products with Beijing features, including folding fans painted with the Forbidden City and the Tian’anmen Gate, figurines of Peking Opera characters, and drawings and postcards of major places of interests in Beijing. In addition to the Quanjude Peking Roast Duck store, ACT perfectly presents a unique “Beijing Specialty Street” to passengers.
According to sources, to meet passengers’ diversified demands at the public section of Terminal 2, and to provide passengers with more shopping choices, ACT also offers such travel accessories as suitcases, bags, neck pillows and eye patches at this new AIRCO specialty store, making passengers’ homeward trips easier during the Spring Festival rush. Going forward, ACT will strive to build a specialized and fashionable business section at BCIA, and offer a closer and more pleasant shopping experience to passengers.
